
Sugar Island features an 11 acre campground located on Big Sugar Creek.
The campground has electrical hook-ups, restrooms with hot showers, RV dump station, and water available at the
Sugar Island Store. While camping at Sugar Island you will be located within 1 mile of town,
and within a couple of hours of Branson, MO.
The creek running by the park has swimming holes deep enough for adults and shallow enough for
children to enjoy! All of Sugar Island's campers have unlimited access to the water and beach. Children can
swim all day, while adults soak up the Sun!
Sugar Island's Campground Rules:
- Gates Close At 11:00 P.M. and Open at 7:00 A.M.
- Quiet Hours are from 11:00 P.M. - 7:00 A.M.
- No Loud Music, Yelling, Fighting or Vulgar Language
- All Pets must be on a leash at all times
- Federal Law Prohibits Glass Bottles and driving in water!
- No Camping on Water's edge
- Stay off opposite bank & far south gravel bar not belonging
to Sugar Island
- No cutting of standing trees
- ATV's not allowed
- Not responsible if you get stuck on the beach
($5.00 tow charge)
- Not responsible for Mother Nature - NO REFUNDS
- All campfires are to be kept away from trees.
- Sugar Island is not responsible for Accidents.

-Sugar Island now has a new sister park-
Big Rock Park is located just a few miles upriver from Sugar Island. It features
one of the best and oldest swimming holes on Big Sugar. This 27 acre campground offers approximately
1/4 of a mile of creek usage. Big Rock park has a day use only area from
8:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. for a nominal fee of $2.00 per person ages 7 and over. Enjoy swimming, fishing, picnicing, and
cookouts at your leasure!
